If you aren’t sure about your spiritual gifts, here is a survey to complete that will help you learn about your gifts. Knowing them might help you decide where to serve.

All of our Awaken volunteers use our app to manage their schedules and communicate with their leaders, so, please download the app too.

Beyond Coffee
Looking for joyful, Spirit-filled, and Jesus-loving people to craft and serve specialty beverages.
Beyond Crew Member (Coffee Shop):
Join the Beyond Coffee team and contribute to a welcoming and enjoyable experience. As a Beyond Crew Member, you’ll engage with customers, take and prepare orders, and maintain a clean and inviting environment. Your friendly service helps create a positive atmosphere, making Beyond Coffee a delightful place for everyone.
Children’s Ministry
Have a heart for children? Come and be a blessing for our children!
Nursery/classroom teacher
A teacher is responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children during church services or events. They facilitate age-appropriate activities, for their spiritual development using established and approved curriculum.
Adaptive teacher
A teacher for adaptive is a specialized position for children who have special needs, this is a vital service to parents who need to be spiritually fed by providing a safe and loving atmosphere for their child. This position does require additional training.
Check-in
As a welcoming presence, this role assists parents with checking their children into the Awaken Kids Ministry programs using a computer check-in system.
Greeter
You will warmly welcome families and children to the church’s children’s ministry area, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere. You will provide information, answer questions, and help direct families to the appropriate classrooms or check-in areas.
Creative
Do you love to create graphics, photography, video, or social media content?
Social Media Content Creator
You will craft engaging and relevant content to share across the church’s social media platforms. You will be assisting by updating our online presence, promoting events, and sharing inspirational messages that align with our values.
Graphic Designer
In the role of Graphic Designer, you will create visually appealing designs for various church materials, including flyers, brochures, and digital graphics. Your artistic talents will help effectively communicate important information and capture the essence of our church’s brand.
Photographer
As a Photographer, you will have the opportunity to capture memorable moments and events within our church community through your lens. Your skilled eye and ability to tell stories through images will help document and showcase the vibrant life of our congregation.
Parking Lot
Love to be outside and help people find where they are going?
Parking Lot
Parking Lot Ministry volunteers direct vehicle traffic, ensure orderly and accessible parking, and provide a warm welcome to visitors upon their arrival

Follow Up Leader
Those with the gifts of hospitality, who deeply care about connecting new believers to the church.
Follow Up Team:
You will me the first person to connect with those who choose to follow Jesus during our gatherings with a welcoming and loving conversation that leads them to connecting with Awaken Las Vegas through our Discipleship Journey.
Youth Ministry
Do you connect easily with young people and have a heart to see them live for Jesus?
Youth Leader
We are looking for people who are mature in their walk with Jesus and deeply care about shepherding the now generation to walk closely with Jesus. There are many roles to fill during our ministry gatherings including things like leading a small group, set up and tear down, greeting and check in, as well as teaching and leading in worship! Production
Love production and technology? We’ve got the role for you – and we train!
Camera Operator
This is the role where everyone begins. Operating a broadcast camera to improve online viewers experience, helping them feel like they are a part of the service. From there you will be trained for other positions like pro-presenter, director, lighting and sound.
Security
We are looking for servants hearts who care about protecting others.
Security Ministry Team Member
Monitor the premise and remain vigilant for any potential safety concerns or disruptive behavior, and ensures a secure environment that allows congregants to worship without worry.
Connect Team
Be a warm welcome to our visitors helping with questions, and providing assistance to all.
Host
Be ready to help with a smile, new visitors with a short tour, or help families find locations for Awaken Kids, Middle School and High School.
Greeter
Greet everyone who walks onto our property with a genuine smile and hello. You will occasionally pass out materials and you will serve before and after our gatherings.
Connect Desk
This position greets new visitors with a welcome packet and information about Awaken and the many opportunities they have to connect with us. You will also be helping with questions people have about events, and other things happening at the church. It is important to be a friendly communicator who loves our church and wants to see people connected.
Worship Team
Have musical talent and want to share them with the body of Christ?
Worship Team Member
Utilize your musical talents, both vocal and instrumental, to cultivate an atmosphere of worship and ushering in the presence of the Lord during our gatherings. Please note that this role requires an audition process.
