Baptism at Awaken Las Vegas is a public declaration of faith for individuals who have made the decision to follow Jesus Christ. It is performed by full immersion in water and signifies the washing away of past sins and the start of a new life in Christ. However, it is important to note that Awaken Las Vegas does not perform baptisms on babies or toddlers, as the act of baptism is reserved for individuals who have made a conscious choice to follow Jesus. At Awaken Las Vegas, baptism is the beginning of a lifelong commitment to living a life dedicated to God.

Baptisms are typically performed on the 4th Sunday of every month after the 11am worship service only and are a joyous and meaningful event, celebrated by friends and family.

Acts 2:38 – “And Peter said to them, ‘Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.'”
